Blech.

Sky used to eat just about anything. His Aunt kids me all the time back then that my son doesn’t have taste buds! It was great back then because he loved Ampalaya (Bitter gourd) and would even lap up sardines in a heartbeat.

Now is a different story though, he has developed his sense of taste considerably and would spit out anything that he finds revolting for his tongue.

It used to be that he’ll just out right spit it out… Now, he would run after me and pretend to kiss me – but he ends up passing his unwanted “chewables” inside my mouth!

I have become accustomed to his newfound habit, his grandmother however was NOT. Mama was lying on her back on a bed on the floor while she chatted with my sister and I… Sky at that time was busy munching on a piece of potato chip. And then all of a sudden, he went over my mama and bent over her head, as if giving her a kiss. Well, he didn’t.

“Blech!” was all Mama can say while she started laughing at Sky’s new antic. Wet, just chewed chips was all over mama’s chin and mouth.

Sky was shrieking with happiness when WE all started laughing. Hehehe.. Funny Kid :D

  1. Hi! My son has also become quite a picky eater even before he turned two years old. I actually got worried so I had to bring him to his pedia to seek advice on the matter. He was given an appetite stimulant, but I don’t think it has done much good. If he doesn’t like what’s being served on the dining table, he also spits it out; otherwise, he simply won’t have a taste of the food.
